BREAKING NEWS

It refers to the story of the moment. Something of national importance, something of wide public interest. Be it the results of a much awaited event or something very sensational. It literally breaks the melancholy of regular news and has become a very important part of journalism today. Journalists can now provide aankhon dekha haal through this segment and thus give moment by moment updates on the topic of interest. It has added an altogether new dimension to news delivery and modern journalism has hugely benefitted from this. Some examples of this outstanding form of journalism are shown below

  1. Tilak is a loser. He advertises his blog to random people and forces them to write shiity comments for his ephemeral whims.
He relies on other people (read: ME!) to get content material for his blogs, and doesn’t even attribute appropriate credit to such great people (read: Me, again!). Castrate this asshole!

  2. what ever.. lol

  3. I echo the sentiments of the aforementioned Rajat (whoever you are)….besies i can’t think of how jobless Tilak you must be to go about hunting for kooky headlines…the next piece of breaking news will be about how they sued an IITan for slander…..

  4. @ bhabna : yeah..you are right..i am completely jobless..
@ rajat : I have appropriately credited(and described) your efforts..what else do you want?

  5. dude, I as a fellow blogger can understand where you are leading to. You have become a comments-addict and this phase comes once in every blogger’s life but it shall pass by soon. 😛

Btw, good appropriate images, specially the amitabh bacchan waala. Someone had to write about this forms of journalism and you filled the gaps.

PS : And sure u are a lukkha in life

  6. Thanx Zubin for understanding my predicament..u are right..only a fellow blogger can understand one’s pathos..

  10. Bull’s Eye — I can actually remember INDIA TV having their headlines as – “Rakhi Sawant ki nayi Honda City guarantee period se pehle kharab hui” .. Watching India TV used to be my safest bet to get rid of the ennui that vacations bring with them.
